Getting
Certified is very important. Certification lets people know that your
special Tribute Edition Shelby Mustang is in FACT a Limited Production
Mustang that is approved by Carroll Shelby and Carroll Shelby
Licensing, Inc. Dont wait..... get it CERTIFIED now. To be CERTIFIED,
all pieces of the special "TRIBUTE EDITION SHELBY" kit must be
installed correctly and in its entirety with out any MODIFICATIONS to
those pieces, as shown in the photos below. The 1994 to Present GT500KR
kits use 1969 style "SHELBY" Emblems while the 1994 to Present G.T. 350
and G.T. 500 kits use special unique "CS" Emblems that are custom
designed and only found on the Tribute Edition Shelby G.T. 350 and G.T.
500 Mustangs.
The very first Tribute Edition Shelby
(Prototype), was a G.T. 350 version, installed on a 1998 Mustang and
used 1967 Shelby style Emblems. It is the only 1994 to 1998 body style
to use those Emblems. A few of G.T. 350 and G.T. 500 kits installed on
1999 Mustangs also used the 1967 Shelby style Emblems. The change in
Emblems was due to the fact that locating the 1967 Shelby style Emblems
became to dificult and to costly. David T. Hawkins of MESTENGO F/X,
Inc. is the ONLY qualified person at this time to certify all TRIBUTE
EDITION SHELBY Mustangs. After installing the kit on your Mustang, a
full set of 35mm photographs must be sent to varify that the
installation was performed correctly. All Tribute Edition Shelby
Mustangs passing certification will receive a special Certificate that
will display a photograph of the Mustang and is signed by Carroll
Shelby and David Hawkins.
The Tribute Edition Shelby Mustangs pay TRIBUTE
to Carroll Shelby for all he has done for the automotive world. All
Tribute Edition Shelby kits produced and sold by MUSTANG F/X, Inc. are
Official Products of Carroll Shelby Licensing, Inc. David Hawkins, the
owner of MESTENGO F/X, Inc., has chosen to LIMIT the number of kits
produced. I am taking major steps to prevent Tribute Edition Shelby
Clones from being built so the Values of the REAL Tribute Shelby's
remain in tact.

Notice how much of the center stripe is on the front leading edge of the door. The new 2005 Mustangs will have the lower Side Stripe Logo, "G.T. 350, G.T. 500 AND GT500KR", on the Fender instead of on the Door. With the new Body design, the Lower Side Stripes will be just as the ones used on the original 1965 to 1968 Shelby Mustangs.

Notice the spacing from the top edge of the Bumper Cover to the bottom edge of the Quarter Panel Decals.

Notice that the Dash Plaque is centered. Even though this is a photo of the 1999 to 2004 Fender The Emblems install in the same mannor. The objective is to center the new Emblem over the holes in the Fender.

Notice where the Emblems are placed. On the 1994 - 1998 models the top of the Emblem is even with the top of the Tail Light. On the 1999 - 2004 models the Emblem is centered and about an inch above the lower lip of the Deck Lid. Both Emblems are even with the Oval Ford Emblem that is on the right side of the Deck Lid. A 1969 style "SHELBY" Emblem replaces the factory oval "FORD": Emblem.

Notice the
spacing between the Two Fender Emblems, also notice how the SHELBY
Emblem on the 1999 and 2001 Fender is off center because of the Wheel
Openning Flare.

Notice the spacing between the factory SVT Emblem and the "CS" Emblem. A 1969 style "SHELBY" Emblem replaces the Factory oval "FORD" Emblem.

This special Tag is to be Rivited to the Black Plastic Cover on the Fire Wall on the flat area just to the left of the Brake Booster, (Facing the Fire Wall)
